Hi, I'm a student of Tokyo Institute of Technology. My major is Biotechnology and second major is education.
In fact, I take part in Japan-America Student Conference this summer, and we are going to discuss "Japanese and American education in 21st century" as a group theme. I've been in Japan for all my life, so this article, which is about American STEM education, is what I want to know right now.
I agree that we should take STEM education seriously. You discuss American issue, and acutually it's also a big problem in Japan. The speed of science progress is getting higher, so next generation is required to have access to science. In America, there are a lot
of projects for children to try and enjoy science, which Japan can follow or cooperate.
I really enjoy your article. Thank you.
